Acupuncture Instructional Aid Ear Model

An adult-sized model left and/or right ear used for instructional purposes was designed with input from an acupuncturist and features physical landmarks which are easy to identify. 

This provides students and instructors with a realistic platform to locate and needle auricular acupuncture points and refine their needle insertion technique before treating live patients. The durable material can accommodate insertion of traditional acupuncture needles (with or without insertion tubes) and semi-permanent indwelling ear needles. Our ear model can withstand hundreds of needle insertions without damaging the integrity of the material.

The real life-like model ear measures 1 5/8″ wide, 2 3/4″ tall, by 1 1/2″ deep. It is manufactured at our facility and is made out of silicone rubber so it feels soft and life-like.

Our ears also work perfectly for jewelry designers, whether making earrings with posts, earring cuffs or to display earring art.  Or perhaps just to sharpen your drawing skills if you are an inspiring artist or illustrator.
